This is definitely one of my “must-have” gadgets for any digital nomad.
As a designer and coder, I was constantly frustrated by switching between design and coding software and browser windows on my laptop.
Traveling frequently means that it can be difficult to take a second monitor, but the AOC USB-Powered monitor makes it more than easy to have a second monitor at your AnywhereHQ.
This monitor is the perfect compliment to my 15″ MacBook Pro. It’s powered by a single USB port, and small enough to fit into my laptop bag or backpack, which makes it ideal to travel with- the monitor is one inch larger than my laptop screen, but I don’t even notice the extra weight in my bag.
I’m a little embarrassed to say that I’ve even dropped this monitor on the ground a couple of times. The plastic frame separated, but other than that, the monitor was completely fine. I was able to easily snap the plastic frame back onto the monitor in just a few seconds, and it was good as new. Full marks for durability!
Overall, I’m very impressed by the quality and durability of this monitor. I would highly recommend it for any digital nomad. Once you plug it into your laptop, you’ll never leave it behind again.
