Our Story

Hi, I’m Scott.

I started my own web design and development business over 7 years ago. I’d spent enough time in offices, cubicles, and the never-changing daily grind of full-time jobs. Ever since my first job, it was always my goal to become completely location-independent- free from offices, commutes, and living in a single location day after day, month after month, and year after year. Why live in one location, when you can live in many?

In the last 7 years, I’ve done lots of traveling, and even more research. This website is the culmination of my business and lifestyle research, my passions, and my experience. It’s taken me hours, months, and even years to figure out how to live life on my own terms- lots of experimenting, lots of successes, and lots of failures. I’m still learning and I always will be. Hopefully, the information on this website will save you some of that time and some of those failures.

I founded AnywhereHQ to support the growing digital nomad community, and to help others achieve the same location and financial freedom. I hope that this site encourages you to get out, explore, and live life on your own terms. I also hope that it inspires you to visit (and live in) your dream destinations.
